The Many Saints of Newark è il film crime di cui è stato diffuso il primo trailer. Si tratta del prequel della serie drammatica della HBO I Soprano. La trama segue il giovane Anthony "Tony" Soprano mentre cresce a Newark, mentre i gangster rivali iniziano a insorgere e sfidano il potere della famiglia criminale DiMeo.

Il film è diretto da Alan Taylor, e ha nel cast Alessandro Nivola, Leslie Odom Jr., Jon Bernthal, Corey Stoll, Michael Gandolfini, Billy Magnussen, Michela De Rossi. Le riprese si sono svolte a Brooklyn, a Newark: qui un’intera strada è stata trasformata per adattarsi agli anni ’60. Il film sarà nelle sale e in streaming su HBO Max dal disponibile il 1° ottobre 2021.
