Tratta dal romanzo Fuoco e Sangue di George R.R. Martin, la trama è incentrata sulla Casa Targaryen.
La atsgaione 3 sarà formata da 8 nuovi episodi.
Nel cast confermati Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, Tom Bennett, Kieran Bew, Kurt Egyiawan, Freddie Fox, Clinton Liberty, Gayle Rankin e Abubakar Salim.
New entry del cast: Tommy Flanagan nel ruolo di Ser Roderick Dustin, Dan Fogler nel ruolo di Ser Torrhen Manderly, James Norton nel ruolo di Ormund Hightower.
