Oscar 2018, le nomination: è record per La forma dell’acqua – The Shape of Water

The Academy Award ha reso note le nomination degli Oscar 2018.

Per il miglior film sono candidati “Dunkirk" di Christopher Nolan, "Get Out” di Jordan Peele, "Lady Bird” di Greta Gerwig, "Phantom Thread" di Paul Thomas Anderson, "The Shape of Water” di Guillermo del Toro, "Call Me by Your Name” di Luca Guadagnino, "Darkest Hour" di Joe Wright, ”The Post” di Steven Spielberg , "Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri" di Martin McDonagh. I primi cinque film ottengono la nomination anche per la migliore regia, mentre il film di Del Toro ottiene in totale 13 nomination.

Come migliore attore ci sono Timothée Chalamet (“Call Me by Your Name”), Daniel Day-Lewis (“Phantom Thread”), Daniel Kaluuya (“Get Out”), Gary Oldman (“Darkest Hour”), Denzel Washington ("Roman J. Israel, Esq.”)..

Per l’interpretazione femminile, Sally Hawkins ("The Shape of Water”), Frances McDormand ("Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri”), Margot Robbie ("I, Tonya”), Saoirse Ronan (“Lady Bird”), Meryl Streep (“The Post”).

Come miglior film straniero "A Fantastic Woman" (Chile),"The Insult” (Libano), "Loveless" (Russia), "On Body and Soul” (Ungheria) e "The Square” (Svezia).

La 90esima edizione degli Academy Awards si terrà il 4 marzo al Dolby Theatre di Hollywood.
