Trama cast e produzione
Nella Gran Bretagna dell'XI secolo, la trama vede protagonisti Guglielmo di Normandia (interpretato da Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) e Harold del Wessex (James Norton), alleati destinati a scontrarsi ad Hastings nel 1066 per la corona britannica.
Nel cast, accanto a James Norton e Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, annunciati tra gli altri anche Clémence Poésy, Emily Beecham, Luther Ford, Ingvar Sigurdsson, Eddie Marsan, Juliet Stevenson, Jean-Marc Barr, Geoff Bell.
La serie, creata da Michael Robert Johnson, sarà diretta da Baltasar Kormákur. Tra i produttori esecutivi, James Norton per Rabbit Track Pictures, Kormákur per gli RVK Studios, Robert Taylor per la Development Partnership, Dave Clarke e Richard Halliwell per la Shepherd Content, Ed Clarke, Robert Jones e Lindsey Martin dei CBS Studios.
Le riprese sono iniziate nel marzo 2024 in Islanda, tra Heiðmörk e i dintorni di Reykjavík.
